The Honest Garage Door Company
About Generational Garage Doors
Based in Martinez, CA. Serving Contra Costa and Solano Counties for all residential garage door service, repair, and replacement. One owner, one truck, and a name we stand behind.
We call ourselves The Honest Garage Door Company because that's the whole idea. No call centers, no dispatch queues, no subcontractors, no commission-driven sales. The person who answers your call is the person who shows up, does the work, and stands behind it.
Our History
Est. 2023. Superior garage door service, built from years working for the "big" garage door company in Northern California.
Working in the industry day in and day out for over 10 years, I can say I love what I do. Whether we're repairing your door or transforming your home with a new one, helping you is what brings me joy.
My time at the big company showed me that a company that large can't serve customers the way a small one focused on service can. The overhead, office staff, marketing, and expenses forced them to charge a certain amount just to stay in business. I respect that. But I started Generational Garage Doors to serve customers the way I'd want to be served, at a price that's always fair.
Since 2023 I've served hundreds of homeowners across Contra Costa and Solano Counties. I want to be the go-to company for residential garage doors — without giving up the personal, small-business approach or compromising my values. I hope you become part of our history and a generational garage door customer.

A garage door company near you, built on five things that don't change.
01
Respect
For you, and for your home. Every home and every person is different, and Generational Garage Doors is here for garage door wants and needs tailored to you. Whether we're repairing and maintaining your existing door or you're looking for an upgrade, we are the locally owned garage door company near you.
02
Community
Personal connections. Letting someone into your home and your personal space can be difficult. With Generational Garage Doors, the experience is personal. Everyone appreciates a familiar face, so from the beginning to the end of any service, repair, or replacement, it's the owner — the same person who already knows your door and your situation.
03
Integrity
Unmatched customer service. To us, customer service means giving you what you need and educating you along the way. No pressure — knowledge-based education so you can make the best decision on how to take care of your garage door. Whatever you decide, we support it.
04
Reliability
Longevity. Generational Garage Doors is not a fly-by-night company. We plan to be here for generations, helping people with their garage doors along the way. We avoid corporate-style overhead and questionable business practices so we can offer honest, fair-priced garage door service for generations to come.
05
