When You Call, You're Talking to Me.
I'm Dustin — owner of Generational Garage Doors. There's no front desk filtering your calls, no offshore call center, no junior tech who's never been to your house. Every quote, every estimate, every install — it goes through me personally.
If you've got a question about pricing, what brand to pick, whether your old opener can be saved, or anything else — just reach out. I'd rather spend ten minutes on the phone with you up front than waste your time later.

Common Questions
How fast will you get back to me?
During business hours, expect a call back or text reply within a few minutes — usually right away. Emails get answered same day. If you reach out after hours, we still pick up more often than not, and if we miss you, you'll hear back first thing the next morning.
Are estimates really free?
Yes — every estimate is free, in writing, and there's zero obligation. We'll come measure, look at the door, talk through the options, and give you an honest quote. If we don't think you need the work done, we'll tell you that too.
Do you handle emergency repairs?
Yes. Broken spring, door stuck open, car trapped inside — call us. We do our best to handle emergencies same-day during business hours, and we'll always try after hours too. We're a small local team, not a 24/7 dispatch service, so emergency response depends on what's already on the schedule — but we'll be straight with you about timing.
What areas do you serve?
All of Contra Costa County and Solano County. That includes Martinez, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Alamo, Danville, San Ramon, Clayton, Pittsburg, Antioch, Brentwood, Hercules, Pinole, Benicia, Vallejo, American Canyon, Fairfield, and Vacaville. If you're on the edge of our area, call us — we'll let you know if we can make it work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — California Contractor's License #1113495, fully insured. You can verify the license anytime through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
Do you charge for showing up?
No trip fees on estimates for new doors. For service calls (repairs, tune-ups, diagnosing a problem), we charge a small service fee that gets credited toward any work we end up doing. We'll tell you the fee on the phone before we head out — no surprises.
Ready to Talk?
The fastest path to a quote is a quick call or text. Five-minute conversation usually saves you an hour of back-and-forth — and you'll know exactly what to expect.
